This was an enjoyable project with a young family who wanted to build that Mecca in their yard so their growing family will enjoy “Outdoor Living.”

They had their sights on some of the latest materials to create a timeless feel. This was one of the first applications of Tulipwood, a wood plank tile, for National Pool Tile.

The Challenge

The challenge was in making sure that the whole color and texture pallet worked together. Seeing photos in a brochure and actual samples in hand can be very different.

The Solution

Getting National Pool Tile to provide actual samples for all tile and stone face materials. It is very important to look at samples outside in full sun and shade to then make a final decision.
