Not Morocco! Alyson and I at a fundraiser in Bixby Knolls.

Our summer was a blast and I feel like summer is still with us because of the beautiful warm weather.

Starting with the partial solar blankets earlier in the spring season and through some of the summer gave my pool a nice and comfortable temperature to swim in all season. I am feeling better about less evaporation, less chemical usage, and overall they seem to work very well. Taking the blankets off and putting the blankets back on is not a big deal. I actually had it down to a system that took me 5 minutes or less. I plan to shoot a video of that to share with you soon.

If you’re interested in solar blankets, I will be glad to assist you. As things start to cool off, I’m going to put my solar blankets back on to cut down on the evaporation rate and to keep debris out of the pool so it’s good for most of the year.

We welcome you to reference our previous blog posts about Solar Pool Blankets; how they work and the benefits even when they are only covering a portion of the pool surface.
